No real surprises in the nomination stakes tonight due to the existing divides in the house. The newbies of course couldn’t vote and were subsequently immune from nomination this time round. However the spanner in the works was courtesy of Sezer and Imogen’s nomination ban.

The fact that they discussed nominations even in a roundabout way the night before meant that Big Brother had the right to exclude them from the process. It would have made things potentially more precarious for the opposition if they hadn’t talked themselves out of the game.

As it stands we’re looking at a three way nomination this week with Sezer up against Lea and Richard. Whoever goes this time round the audience loses, Richard and Lea are of course ringleaders of one group of housemates while Sezer represents the opposition.

It’s a tough call, and much as Sezer comes across as a dislikable sort he does bring some much needed conflict to the house (don’t get me wrong, if he went the blow to his ego would be good to watch). But who will be Richard’s nemesis if he goes?

For me it has to be Lea, consider it acceptable losses. It kind of levels the playing field a little and if she doesn’t go soon I strongly suspect Glyn’s hormones are going to spill out everywhere, the poor boy from the mountains is set to pop.

Lea’s position in the house has weakened slightly as a consequence of her argument with Lisa. It seems the conversations sparked about her and Pete rattled her cage more than we suspected and Lisa was looking for someone to play whipping boy (girl) with and Lea just happened to be in the firing line. As far as an opening gambit for nominations this was a good one, we await the public’s choice.
