There’s something slightly mystical and mythical about hearing the performances of Ash Mandrake, so goodness knows what it’s like to see him in the flesh. Armed with a voice that ranges between lofty heights and guttural depths and armed with a guitar of his own invention not to mention loop machines expect high levels of energy and a sense of complete abandonment in his work. The busy frenetic backdrops are captivating on the ear, but don’t take my word for it, check out the link below.

Ash takes to the stage at 12pm sharp on Saturday (December 13th)

Following at 1pm is Kerry Andrew delivering a blend of haunted vocals, shimmering soundscapes and inquisitive hunting little arrangements that mix classical and contemporary influences. The different layers work beautifully albeit sometimes in the most unexpected fashion, there’s a warmth to Kerry’s music that can sometimes be missing from this genre. Marvellous stuff, very compelling.
