Paramore return with their new single ‘crushcrushcrush’ on November 19th through Fueled by Ramen records. Undeniably following the recent tradition of American uber youth bands with its snapping and snarling guitars and with the obligatory female vocal up front.
It has to be said this is actually a cut above the competition though, it’s a blooded vocal that lacks the strangled whine of many of its forebears and not only this make you ponder their live credentials but it also makes you think that if they can kick something out like this at such an early stage then there is a real promise in the making with this lot.
The single is taken from the sophomore album ‘Riot!’ which has already proved its credentials in the US by shifting 250 thousand copies in 13 weeks, that as they say is something of a ‘unit shifter’. The band are also prepping for a tour of Japan and Australia after a sold out tour in the UK in early september which culminated in two nights at the London Astoria.
