One for your diaries folks, Arctic Circle performs at The Spitz on Monday 30th July. For the uninitiated the Arctic Circle is a community of musicians, composers and artists. Described as “a refreshing melting pot of contemporary classical, lap-top ambience, live electronica and DJs in a cool, comfortable and fun environment”. They’ve also made appearances at Hayward Gallery and the ICA to name but a few and they have been recommended by The Guardian, The Independent and Mojo magazine.

This time out expect performances from Rothko, Kilma and Anne Garner (fresh from her Daylight excursions at the Union Chapel and of course kept busy with the Slowcraft project). There will also be DJ sets from Ben Eshmade and Inch Time with visuals from Mokital and Bad Hand Film. Entry price is a more than reasonable £6 and you can get to The Spitz venue courtesy of Liverpool Street Tube/Railway that leaves you with a five minute walk. Should be a good ‘un.
