Leann Rimes returns with her new single “Nothin’ Better To Do” not merely taking a leaf from Christina Aguilera’s book more a case of tearing a sheaf of pages and barely leaving the spine behind. It’s a somewhat predictable slab of country fuelled pop with ‘long train running’ backbeats and more twang than a pair of tight knickers. Forgettable stuff armed only with a mildly interesting video to save its graces. Still its not as bad as the gag fest ‘How Do I Live’ which often prompted me to ask the question why do you bother?
It’s a prelude to her new album ‘Family’ which is out on October 8th, the single will be released on September 24th on London/Curb Records.
