Life in London can be an unpredictable business.  Planning a
weekend of fun in the sun should be easy enough; especially in August…
it is, after all, the height of summer.

Unfortunately, summer doesn’t always mean sun in this country, but luckily there are some things we can count on.

Number one is the gorgeous surroundings of Regent’s Park.
Number two, the guaranteed fun and quality entertainment at Fruitstock ’05, held on the 6th – 7th of August, 12 to 9pm.

Fruitstock is a festival organised by ‘innocent’.  You know the
ones… the company behind the fruit juices packed full of more fruit
than the average farmers’ market.  Just how do you fit 2 apples,
15 raspberries, a banana and half a pineapple in a tiny bottle anyway?!

The concept of Fruitstock is simple; live music, food, a gorgeous
setting and nice people… surely a recipe for a chilled out weekend of
fun.  Did I mention it’s 100% FREE?

There’ll be live music from Nitin Sawhney, Gilles Peterson, Alex
Wilson, Hal, US3, Nate James and many more.  The London Community
Gospel Choir is one to watch out for too – if there were a roof on
Regent’s Park they’d be sure to lift it!

For the energetic there will be a DJ tent, kids’ entertainment and open
air yoga – health it up I say!  The hungry can explore the
farmer’s market, posh food and drink stalls and maybe even the odd free
smoothie.

All that sun, tunes, dancing and food can make a person a tad frisky –
so unleash the ‘love’ in the special flirting area.  Not only can
you unleash the fruit loving hippy inside… you may even find luuurve.

So, get off the couch this weekend, pack a gourmet picnic, don some flip-flops and head to Fruitstock ’05.  DEE-LICIOUS!
