You might remember a while ago I did a little piece on Wallis Bird, the singer/songwriter hailing from Ireland who released the rather excellent Moodsets. Having already attracted quite a following in Germany (no, not in the David Hasselhoff way, she’s really bloody good). She’s now based in London and is signed to Island records and her album Spoons recently enjoyed a top five placing on iTunes when Apple made her track ’Counting To Sleep’ its single of the week.
