The Eye Industries label is always one to watch in terms of interesting bands, the last big gasp they chucked my way came courtesy of My Federation. This time around however the label hops on the distinctly electro flavoured dance wagon with the release of the new single from The Kic Pimpz (out August 11th). Its pure radio fodder of course picking up early plays on Radio 1 and Kiss for starters. It won’t change your life and it owes a lot to tracks like ‘Jacques Your Body’ but it does have a bassline with a nice rough hewn quality about it and that’s never a bad thing on any given Thursday.
