Underwater something is bubbling and it goes a little something like this:

Momix’s production of Lunar Sea (ahem) has hit the shores of the Thames and beached itself at the Peacock Theatre in the West End of little London town.

A plentiful supply of sea creature enough to keep satisfied even the hungriest of pescatarians (with a side serving of moon matter to boot).

So far you wouldn’t have gathered anything about the show but that’s Momix for you, it’s neither dance, circus, it’s a mixture of illusion, sound and improbability.

Last year I took at look at Momix’s Opus Cactus which was a super show beyond belief and this too follows in its footsteps. I found the opening scene of Lunar Scene a little long-winded but the rest of the show certainly made up for it and I would return again in the blink of an eye.

Luncar Sea can be seen until 25 November so don’t miss your trip to sea and space otherwise you’ll have to wait another year for your next fix.

TIP: try and get seating which is central to the stage otherwise some of your illusion may be lost if sitting at a corner.
