As if the line up for this night was not strong enough already we have gone & made it better! Returning to The Doctor’s Orders for a surprise exclusive show is De La Soul’s DJ Maseo. Having torn the roof off the last time with one of the best party rocking sets you are ever likely to hear he is sure to do the same again as he blesses this funky friendly crowd once more!

Just check this line up!!!!

DJ MASEO
Since their groundbreaking “3 Feet High & Rising” changed the face of Hip-Hop forever De La Soul have continued to push the boundaries of the genre. With each of their following 6 albums reaching classic status with Hip-Hop heads and wider audiences alike. Maseo’s influence as the crew’s DJ and producer is unquantifiable.

As a DJ in his own right Maseo is one of the finest party rockers around. With selections of Hip-Hop from early classics to brand new hits blended with the Funk, Rare Groove and some surprise classics (Madonna was heard last time he played) he has the presence on the Mic & Decks that one would expect from a true legend.

KUTMASTER KURT
Kutmaster Kurt is one of the unsung heroes of underground Hip-Hop but he will be sure to be making more fans with this exclusive crowd rocking show! While his production credits include work with the likes of Dilated Peoples, Beastie Boys, Linkin Park & Blackalious among many others it is for his work alongside former Ultramagnetic Mc Kool Keith that he his best known. Together they created “Dr Octagon” alongside contributions from DJ Shadow and Q-Bert. This underground classic is without a doubt a benchmark for the off the wall independent sound that was taken up by many to come and mastered by the multi platinum Eminem.

BRAD BALOO
As one of the UK’s finest Hip-Hop producers The Nextmen. Brad Baloo is as good at rocking crowds as he is creating beats and for this special event he brings their straight up party sounds to this ever appreciative crowd. Despite being best known as a producer having worked with everyone who’s anyone in the UK scene, Brad’s DJ sets are as uncompromising as they are entertaining. Dance-floors are treated to anything and everything from Soul, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, Rock and so far beyond that everyone is left with their faces smiling and their asses shaking.

With the launch of their own label, Custom Records these Cambridge natives are gonna be doing big things this year with more production and party credits than ever so make sure you do not miss them at their best as they cut, scratch, mix and blend their way through every type of record you have ever wanted to hear in a club right here at The Doctor’s Orders.

DJ SPIN DOCTOR
As the nights only permanent resident Spin knows what it takes to rock this crowd and has been doing so every month with his distinct blend of Hip-Hop, Soul & Bashment. For this 1st of his sets in the upstairs bar Spin will be searching the more soulful side of his nature with a selection of party funk & disco breaks.

TUBBS
He is joined by New Zealand’s own Tubbs. After several years partying back in his native land he moved to London back in 1997 and has since busied himself working with the likes of Mr Scruff, Wall of Sounds Dirty Beatniks, original UK rap legends Silver Bullet and so many more. His releases “Low Slung Funk EP” and “Good Days, Better Nights LP” have brought him to the attention of a wider audience but it is still behind the decks that he feels most comfortable and you can expect him & Spin to give The Nextmen downstairs a good run for their money as they try to tear the roof off the sucka!
