Back On The Ice...

These aren't just your average truckers...
The Ice Road Truckers return to our screens on September 10th courtesy of History, for the uninitiated this is the ongoing saga of some frankly crazy individuals who drag ridiculously huge trucks over ice roads (technically sheets of ice over the Arctic Ocean). These drivers are responsible for taking supplies to Alaska’s North Slope and there can be no over emphasis on the dangers they face as they take on some of the harshest conditions that nature has to offer.
This time around the conditions are no easier and as if that wasn’t bad enough there is the constant threat of temperatures that can be as low as minus seventy degrees. Definitely recommended viewing.
