Summit Entertainment, Chop Shop Records and Atlantic Records have announced the tracklisting for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack”, the musical companion to the third installment in Summit’s film franchise. The album will be released on June 7, the film; ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, opens nationwide on July 9th.

‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ soundtrack features a collection of songs that will appear in the movie, highlighted by Muse’s brand new single “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)” which is out on Monday May 17. In addition to Muse, the soundtrack features new songs from Florence + The Machine, The Dead Weather, Vampire Weekend, Cee Lo Green, The Bravery, Beck and Bat For Lashes, Metric, UNKLE featuring The Black Angels, Fanfarlo and more. Each recording featured is exclusive to the soundtrack, having never been released previously. See below for the entire tracklisting.

Chop Shop Music Supervision owner Alexandra Patsavas (Gossip Girl, Grey’s Anatomy) returns as the ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Soundtrack Album Producer/Music Supervisor, working closely with the film’s director David Slade in compiling the tracklisting. Paul Katz of Eye2Ear Music serves as both the producer of the album as well as Summit’s point person on film-related music and soundtracks.

“It has been such a privilege to work on ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ with such creative and innovative talent,” says Patsavas. Katz adds, “This soundtrack is our best example to date of our unique combination of major acts that are world renowned and wonderful new discoveries for many people. We really feel our Twilighters will have another great musical experience.”

Released in November of 2008, ‘Twilight – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’ has sold more than 2.5 million copies in the U.S. alone and 1.4 million internationally. The soundtrack topped the Billboard 200 chart upon its release, marking the largest debut for an Atlantic Records soundtrack since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991, in the UK the album is certified Gold having sold over 240,000 copies. In addition, ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’ topped the Billboard 200 in its first full week at retail in October of 2009 and has gone on to sell more than 1.1 million copies in the U.S, here the album went straight in at number one on the compilations chart and is also certified Gold, it has sold nearly 1 million internationally. Both soundtracks have remained on the Billboard 200 since being released.

In ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Bella (Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge.
