Fueled By Ramon’s primo group Paramore return with the single ‘The Only Exception’ on April 5th, the third single to be taken from their number one album ‘Brand New Eyes’. It’s a bit of swerve shot for those used to the more frenetic approach the band are renowned for pursuing. Described as a deeply personal song by vocalist Hayley Williams, this really is one of those tracks that makes even hard hearted bastards like myself take pause for a minute. As is always the case with Paramore the production on their work is whistle clean and this works especially well for an acoustically driven track of this (much gentler) nature. Everything comes through with a real sense of pin drop clarity which is what you want for a song like this.
The band will be back in the UK over the summer for the festival season.
