Brit Award nominee Seasick Steve follows the Top 5 success (and 100,000 sales) of his current album ‘Man From Another Time’ with the launch of the limited edition mini-album ‘Songs for Elisabeth’ on February 8th on Atlantic Records.

Released as an alternative Valentine’s Day gift, the album is dedicated to Seasick Steve’s wife Elisabeth who he married in 1982. The album features the exclusive new track ‘Ready For Love’ as well as six other love songs drawn from his back catalogue including ‘Just Like A King’, co-written with Nick Cave.

‘Songs for Elisabeth’ is presented in a unique Valentine’s Day card packaging, complete with a greeting written by the dog hisself.

The tracklisting is:

8 Ball (originally from the album ‘Cheap’)
Walkin’ Man (from ‘I Started Out With Nothing…’)
My Donny (from ‘Dog House Music’)
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (from ‘Cheap’)
Just Like A King (from ‘I Started Out With Nothing…’)
My Home (Blue Eyes) (from ‘Man From Another Time’)
Ready For Love (new song)

Seasick Steve became one of the hottest ‘new’ artists around when he was catapulted into the public consciousness following an electrifying performance at Jools Holland’s Hootenanny. Since then, he’s sold-out major shows including a prestigious Royal Albert Hall date, charmed every festival from Glastonbury to Latitude and became the oldest Brit Award nominee in history.

After breaking through with the surprise hit of the year ‘Dog House Music’, Seasick’s next album ‘I Started Out with Nothing and I Still Got Most of it Left’ went onto sell over 250,000 copies. Seasick’s most recent album ‘Man From Another Time’ entered the charts at #4, making it his highest charting release to date. It was kept from the top spot by albums from Alexandra Burke, Michael Bublé and Whitney Houston.
