The stage belongs to Syd Arthur this weekend (1st November) as he takes to the stage to perform both acoustically and electrically this weekend. Bringing a blend of rock and psychedelic material to the fore. Expect lavish guitar along with dashings of analogue electronics as well as bits and pieces of string work. I dont like trying to categorise Syd’s music from the examples I heard because every now and then you get a curve ball thrown at you and it ventures into territories that are somewhat unexpected. Maybe that’s me showing my naivety to his chosen genres but suffice to say I really enjoyed what he had to offer. And in the settings of the Chapel it should give his performance an extra dimension.
