Pinstripe the sickeningly young and talented band from Somerset release their first physical single (following on from the download only “Innocent”) on October 1st. The 3 track CD, 7” and download are lead by “Did I Say” and backed with “Memory”. For a bunch that are only 16/17 years old its bloody accomplished stuff as well. Tight cohesive pop rock fronted with powerful vocals and a suitable air of dramatic flair. If they can knock out stuff of this quality now then they really could be ones to watch for the future. Already they’ve been picked up by the likes of Zane Lowe and Steve Lamacq on Radio 1 as well XFM’s Evening Playlist. They’ve already sealed their live credentials with appearances at Glastonbury and this autumn they’re going to be hitting the road on a national tour including an appearance at The Fly in London on September 27th.
Without a doubt this single should go on your “to buy” list.
