Oasis return with a new DVD documenting their last tour on the 29th October. ‘Lord, Don’t Let Me Down’ is a warts and all documentary (well it had to be considering the subject matter) following the band across 26 countries and a combined audience of over two million people. Originally shown in selected cinemas last year this version of the film has optional voice over commentary from members of the band (so expect it to get colourful in places) as well as a Q & A session with fans from New York City. The bonus disc contains 90 minutes of footage from the band’s homecoming show at Manchester City’s Eastlands Stadium together with footage sent in by fans from around the world who attended the show.

The film is directed by Baillie Walsh who has previously worked with Massive Attack (Safe From Harm), Spiritualised, New Order and Kylie Minogue (Slow). He is currently working on a film with Daniel Craig.

This should hopefully tide the fans over till the bands next album that is tentatively scheduled for release in 2008.
