Ah, memories.

People of a certain vintage will be no stranger to The Dukes Of Hazzard. For many of us it was our first televisual experience of car chases, death defying stunts. Blokes driving recklessly and women in the shortest denims imaginable.

It’s only fair that a new generation gets to see their own version of the hit show of the late 70’s and 80’s. So Warner Brothers have revitalised the franchise with a prequel to the 2005 movie remake. For the most part its up and coming names taking the roles in the show but there are some recognisable faces on offer in the show. Willie Nelson returns to play Uncle Jesse while Sherilyn Fenn (remember Twin Peaks) and Chris Gilmore (Happy Gilmore) appears as the scheming Boss Hogg.

Of course the show wouldn’t be complete without Bo (Jonathan Bennett) and Luke and Daisy (April Scott) and one of the most iconic cars to grace the small screen, the General Lee. The DVD is out now but we have five copies to give away to the first five people to email me with the answer to a very simple question.

What was the name of The Duke boys’ legendary automobile?

The first five people to email me at adi@cix.co.uk with the answer will receive a copy for their troubles.
