Nominations are in and this week the candidates up for the long walk on Friday night are none other than Lea and Richard. This threatens to represent the biggest sea change in the house(s) so far. Simply because regardless of your feelings towards either candidate the potential evictees up this week are big characters within the house.

Lea hasn’t always been the twisted ball of paranoia that haunts our screens of a night. Once upon a time she was the matriarch of the house, looking after the youngsters of the house with the benefits of (great) age and wisdom on her shoulders (and two humongous wedges of silicon beneath them).

If Leah was the mother then surely Richard was the father, albeit a slightly prissy one. Armed with a devastatingly patronising tone he has recently neglected his paternal duties in order too hang out with the world’s most uninteresting woman (Susie, did you see her dancing, even that was fucking boring!). Alas we have to lose one of these two while the likes of Susie and Imogen slip under the radar…again.

The arrival of House 2.0 veteran Jayne has served to heighten the paranoia quotient. The question in everyone’s head is “just how much does she know”. Of course when anyone new comes in it smoothes over the cracks for a while and relations generally improve.

It has to be asked how long Jayne will be tolerated though. She has enough energy for all the housemates combined. Nice in small doses but can anyone truly put up with that for a long period of times. And of course you have to wonder how long someone can put up with such noxious belching (Susie’s already looking perturbed).

Additional evictions meanwhile are imminent for House 2.0 and it won’t be long before Aisleyn leaves her new “yard” and heads back to her original pad. No doubt this will cause an interesting shift in dynamic especially when she confronts the woman she evicted.
